Sports Are For Women started with a simple, overdue idea: women don't need a reason to love sports beyond loving sports.

We got tired of the jokes. Tired of being asked which player we thought was cute before anyone asked what we thought of the defense. Tired of watching decades of loyalty, knowledge, and passion get waved away as a crush. So we built a space where female fans don't have to prove anything to anyone — where the conversation starts with the game itself.

We write about strategy, stats, rivalries, heartbreak seasons, and the players who earn our respect for what they do on the field, not just how they look doing it. We take fandom seriously because it deserves to be taken seriously, no asterisks required.
